1. Who we are
Agrin Host ("we", "us") provides web design, custom web development, and web hosting services through this website and the client dashboard. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.
2. Data we collect
Data you give us
- Account details: name, email address, phone number, and password (stored only as a salted hash).
- Billing details: billing address and invoice history. Card and bank details are entered directly with our payment processors and never touch our servers.
- Support and contact messages: anything you send through the contact form, support tickets, or email.
- Project material: content, files, and credentials you share with us to design, build, or host your site.
Data collected automatically
- Server logs: IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps, and referring URL, used for security and troubleshooting.
- Analytics: aggregated page-view data as described in section 5.
3. How we use it
- To create and manage your account and deliver the services you order.
- To invoice you, process payments, and prevent fraud.
- To answer support requests and send service notices such as invoices, renewal reminders, and maintenance alerts.
- To keep the website and hosting platform secure, including rate limiting and abuse detection.
- To understand how the website is used so we can improve it.
Our legal bases are performance of a contract, our legitimate interests in running and securing the service, and, for optional analytics cookies, your consent.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with providers that help us run the service, under contracts that restrict how they use it:
- Payment processors (Stripe, PayPal) to take payments.
- Email delivery providers to send transactional email.
- Data-centre and infrastructure providers that physically host our servers.
- Analytics providers as described below.
- Authorities where the law requires it.
5. Cookies and analytics
We use a small number of cookies for sign-in sessions, security, and, where enabled, analytics. Full details, including how to opt out, are in our Cookie Policy.
6. Retention
- Account data is kept while your account is active and for up to 12 months after closure.
- Invoices and payment records are kept for 7 years to meet accounting and tax obligations.
- Support tickets are kept for 24 months after they are closed.
- Server logs are rotated after 90 days unless retained for a security investigation.
7. Security
All traffic is encrypted with HTTPS. Passwords are hashed, admin access is restricted and logged, and backups are stored encrypted. No system is perfectly secure, so if we learn of a breach affecting your data we will notify you without undue delay.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You can update most account data yourself in the client dashboard. For anything else, contact us and we will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
9. Changes to this policy
We will post any changes on this page and update the date at the top. For material changes we will also email account holders.
